This is the new adventure at our house. It seems to be going okay but I was wondering if anyone had any tips to ensure that it is successful.

Sure, they will get older and eventually they will not like walking around in their own mess. I think that is the success here. As far as no relapses, no ideas, since we have had 2 with Hailey! - Ray
I'm awaiting the day I feel up for it but I've got the juice boxes, treats and best of all "ElmoZoey" panties. I intend to stay in for 3 days and do a serious bootcamp - short chapter I read in Toddlerwise which comes from the book Mel gave me "Toilet Training in Less Than a Day." Basically we use a doll or teddybear to "peepee" in the potty (you put water in the potty for her to HAH?) then show how proud you are and that baby gets a treat b/c she stayed "clean & dry." Says not to reward for USING the potty but rather for staying clean & dry (by using potty obviously). With the sweet & salty & juice drinks it will create lots of excitement and lots of added opportunities. We'll see how it goes....Good Luck!
I am a wife, mother, friend, sister, & daughter, but most of all I am a CHRISTIAN! I have been married since 2002 to a wonderful man that works hard to provide for his family. In 2005 we were blessed with our first child, in 2006 with our second, then our third in 2008, and yes our fourth in 2009. I love my family and feel blessed more than I can even convey of the love, grace, and mercy God has shown me.

lots of prayer and patience needed! for us, "boot camp" was the way to go. it was intense at first, but totally paid off. kate is doing great.
